MONPARIS

Rosa Ortega Grönlund, born in México. She is a prominent figure who moved to Helsinki in 1995 to pursue a Master’s degree in Product and Glass Design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki (now part of Aalto University). While she is originally often recognized within the Finnish-Mexican creative community is an Industrial Designer who graduated from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 1993. She obtained her Masters degree in Arts in Aalto Yliopisto in Finland in 1997. She is specialized in Glass Design. Studied glass technics in France, Sweden and Italy. Her most outstanding accomplishments are her exhibitions and collections displayed in Barcelona (Spain) and polaroids & photography works. Also the acquisition of her pieces by the Glass Museum in Finland as part of its permanent collection. Currently she lives and works in Helsinki, Finland.
